The flooring of home can be revamped using wood or parquets. Hard wood floors are long-lasting and durable. Sometimes in place of hard wood, veneer is used. The veneer is wrapped in thin sheet of oak giving the gloss of real oak. The life of the floor can be improved using machine floor sanding technique. Floor sanding abrasives like sand rolls, discs, pads are attached to floor sander in order to remove stains and scuffs. For instance, screen disc is used to flatten surface after edger has done its job. This technique is quite often used on sports floors. Sports floors are strong, sturdy and can resist time. French polishing is often done to remove stains caused by water seepage and heat marks. French polish is prepared after mixing alcohol with item called shellac.
